i have Cisco UCS C220 M4 i have tried to update CIMC using cisco host upgrade utility v4.0.1a
the bios has been updated from version C220M4.3.0 4a.0.0226182253 to version C220M4 4.0.1c.0.0711181559
and Cisco 12G SAS Modular RAID has been updated from Version 24.12.1-0205-0 to 24.12.1-0411-0
but Cisco IMC update failed with error 1902 i googled the error and i found that may rebooting the Cisco IMC from web FIX the issue
and that was the mistake
after rebooting the cimc nic is off and became unreachable no booting options only efi shell
i tried to update cimc from efi shell
by extracting the bin file from host upgrade iso using getfw utility and using fwup.efi file from old host upgrade iso
but i got error failed to communicate to Cisco IMC
how can i downgrade bios version or update the IMC

See if you can access the cimc via local serial connection from notebook/other system via smart access serial:
If you can access the CIMC this way, then follow https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/sw/cli/config/guide/4_0/b_Cisco_UCS_C-Series_CLI_Configuration_Guide_40/b_Cisco_UCS_C-Series_CLI_Configuration_Guide_40_chapter_01110.html#task_25869FBB5C9D41A597D17912DAF1BCFD to work on upgrading firmware activating the backup image.
Also, you might want to consider downloading the latest HUU ISO for this server (https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286281345/type/283850974/release/4.1(2g) , and then use rufus or other USB bootmaker utility to create a bootable USB stick with the above HUU ISO, and then attempt an upgrade with that.

a- i downloaded the huu iso and create bootable USB stick using rufus ,boot from efi shell by access efi/boot folder and use BOOTX64.efi file i am gotting the following error
b- then i tried to burn DVD and boot from efi shell by access efi/boot folder and use BOOTX64.efi file
i am gotting different error
i think i have to downgrade the bios version first from efi shell then use huu iso

So you can't hit F6, and choose the vKVM DVD as the boot object with the HUU ISO mounted?
Is this some sort of 'appliance' based on UCS C220 ?
