I have installed ESX on a UCS server (see versions below) ESX is installed on a Cisco Flex Flash (mirror)
When I make changes via my VShpere client (or VCenter Essentials Server) after a reboot I lose the configuration changes.
e.g. VM's that I've added to the inventory are gone (still on datastore), license is gone. The mirror is healthy and I was able to install ESXi so I have write access. How to troubleshoot this?? Or is it a known issue.... Thanks in advance for any help!
UCS C220 M4S
Cisco Flex Flash version 1.3.2 build 161
ESX version Vmware-ESXi-5.5.0-2068190-custom-Cisco-5.5.2.3.iso
Bios Version C220M4.2.0.6a.0.051220151501

Quick google search gave me a bunch of results pointing to the vmware community on different ESXI versions.
I would contact VMware...

If you are running ESX 5.5 Update 3b, you should download the following patch from VMware:
ESXi Express Patch 10 3568722 (3568880) released 2/22/2016
It solved our problem...this is after 48 hrs of troubleshooting on our own and contacting VMware.
You may have to re-image your blades first and then apply the patch, we had to do this in 2 of 7 cases in our infrastructure.
We ran into this problem with iSCSI boot...

Was your issue about ESXi losing the configuration changes? what is the problem fixed in that patch? I see you have posted the same info in a couple of threads already...

Greetings.
Are you having issues after rebooting, or errors during the install process?
Thanks,
Kirk...
