Cisco UCS C240M4 ESXi installation

We are trying to install ESXi on Cisco UCS C240M4 server and while loading getting the VMware purple screen with the following error

NOT_IMPLEMENTED bora/vmkernel/hardware/apic.c:1897.

I have seen that issue when the image is not a Cisco custom image...try the custom image and let us know...

Is it me or you are having issues installing an OS (ESXi 4.1) that no longer has support of the vendor (VMware) :  http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2039567
