Hello all
I'm face with a problem of upgrading my vmware environment. Is it possible to upgrade my current vmware environment from vSphere 5.0 to vSphere 5.5 or v6 ?? Below is my current Cisco UCS specs. Cisco says no Vmware says yes. Has anyone tried or have this problem ??
Current version = UCSM B series
UCS release = 2.1(2)
Server Model = B230-M2
Adapter = CAN \ UCS M91kR Virtual Interface Card

If you need to confirm hardware/software compatibility, here is your best friend:

With the UCSM version you are running and the hardware you have, the latest version supported is ESXi 5.1 U1 but if you upgrade to 2.1.3 you will see Esxi 5.1 U2-3, ESXi 5.5, ESXi 5.5 U1-2 and Esxi 6.
I bet you meant to type M81KR, so keep in this in mind for proper functioning:
Adapter Driver = 1.5.0.45 (FNIC), 2.1.2.38 (ENIC)
Adapter Firmware = 2.1(3)
