clearing Uplink FC port statistics

We had an event that caused some link failures and sync losses on some uplink FC ports.  I'm presuming that the number in the value column for statistics is aggregate values and not what is actually presently occurring.  So I would like to clear the values so that they are back to zero.  Is there a way for resetting statistic values to 0?

You can connect to the nxos plane and issue a "clear counter interface "
