Hi
I am planning to configure Cisco UCSM Backup . If I select "Policy Backup and Export " and set weekly then its mean it will take Full state and All configuration backups on weekly basis . I have three questions about it .
1) When i configure the "Policy Backup and Export " for both full state and All configuration . Then this policy automatically create a backup operation on the day of backup for full state and All configuration?
2) Will it over writes the same backup files every week or will create a new backup files every week if I let this policy run for a month ?
3) How i can define a path where i want those files to be stored on remote server. I can see that i need to give IP address of the backup server where i want these files to be remotely backed up but i could not find if i can define a directory path of remote backup server where these files can be stored something like this e.g : "/opt/backup/CiscoUCSM/ "
Kindly let me know . Thanks in advance

remote file path field: The full path to the backup configuration file. This field can contain the filename as well as the path. If you omit the filename, the backup procedure assigns a name to the file.
Potential to Overwrite Backup Files
If you rerun a backup operation without changing the filename, Cisco UCS Manager overwrites the existing file on the server. To avoid overwriting existing backup files, change the filename in the backup operation or copy the existing file to another location.
1) When i configure the "Policy Backup and Export " for both full state and All configuration . Then this policy automatically create a backup operation on the day of backup for full state and All configuration? Yes, assuming you set the admin state to 'enabled'.
From a timing perspective, it will create a repeating backup operation using the time of day that the backup policy was defined.
Thanks,
Kirk...
