Hi,
Need some advice with switching from FC Switching mode to FC End Host Mode. Is it possible with no downtime (other than restarting hosts to add/remove vHBA’s)?
We currently have one storage directly attached to our FI’s.
My task is to connect FI’s to pair of MDS 9148s in port channel. MDS to 2 additional storage devices, and move existing storage to MDS, running multiple VSAN’s.
Current MDS config
feature npiv
feature fport-channel-trunk
interface port-channel1
channel mode active
switchport mode F
switchport trunk allowed vsan 701
switchport trunk allowed vsan add 711, 721, 731
switchport rate-mode dedicated
interface fc1/5
port-license acquire
channel-group 1 force
interface fc1/6
port-license acquire
channel-group 1 force
Any advices for me?
I am running two 6248’s, and two chassis’s on 3.11e.
Thanks
Mladen
