Need help fixing current version of UCSPE.
UCS Manager in UCSPE 2.13aPE1 shows fault: identity-unestablishable, description: warnings of XX DIMM on server X/X has an invalid FRU.
Hardware inventory shows that both these parts have the same PID. Added Hynix memory to the hardware inventory configuration and it displays as Samsung however adding Samsung shows correctly.

I believe that FRU stands for "Field Replaceable Unit" and I get this error when the server is expecting a Cisco dimm and sees a Kingston dimm for example.

I have the same experience - old M2 blade, new Kingston module (same part number/parameters), catalog 3.1(1h).
Is there at least an option to hide those alarms?

In case anyone still finds this thread for the answer:
Updating the catalog as described here (Cisco UCS Manager Firmware Management Using the CLI, Release 3.1 - Manage the Capability Catalog in Cisco UCS Manager …)
And then re-acknowledging the blade System Management - Managing Blade Servers [Cisco UCS Manager] - Cisco Systems
Blade will reboot.
Solved it for me.
