Hi there,
Is is possible to completely disable the MegaRAID SAS Invader Controller on a B200 M4 blade? We do not use this controller as we boot over the network using Auto Deploy in ESXi 5.5. I would like for it not to show up in ESXi.
I have created a BIOS Policy which sets to disabled the 'Intel Entry SAS RAID' and 'Onboard SCU Storage Support' options but this has not helped.
Thanks
Chris

If that is the embedded RAID controller, you might want to enter BIOS and disable it from there.

Chris,
Did you ever resolve this? I'm having the same issue.

Greetings.
Have you tried the SAS option ROM disable?

Sorry, realize that you are asking about disabling it all together. You can do that on rack servers for raid controllers in specific PCI-E slots (set link speed to 'disabled', but I have not see that work on a blade.
Thanks,
Kirk...
