UCS Fabric Interconnect vpc

Hi all

I have my fabric inter, connected to my ASR , from each fabric I have two (2) interface to the ASR and I have created a port-channel on each Fabric.

On the ASR side, I created only 1(one) port-channl with the 4 interfaces.

My question will be is this ok, or is there best practices for this type of connection?

thanks.

The FIs don't share a control (or data) plane and can't support a VPC on the FI side, so you would need to split up your port-channels per FI.

Your FI can have a port-channel going to two northbound switches in a VPC, but not the other way around.

Thanks,

Kirk...
