Does Cisco UCS X410c M7 compute node support legacy boot?

We've recently purchased the above compute node and have created service profile. We have an existing UCS environment with servers that boot from san, using legacy boot. We want to clone the boot disk and attach to new compute node. Then boot from SAN with new compute node.

Does Cisco UCS X410c M7 work with legacy boot?, as on checking above documentation, I can see NVMe and SATA legacy boot are not supported. We're looking to boot from SAN (iSCSI).

UCS M7 uses Ice Lake CPUs.
Intel has removed legacy BIOS boot mode from the platform.

Cannot find this explicitly documented in external UCS docs, but internal training on UCS M7 details that only UEFI is supported.

IMO, you'd be better off not cloning boot LUNs anyways.
There are a myriad of issues and TAC cases that are caused by cloned boot LUNs.
If you have more than a dozen servers, then get a kickstart / auto-deploy / LAN boot / PXE boot configuration setup and the time spent will be recuperated 10 fold by leveraging time savings clicking [next][next][next] on OS installations.

Thanks for your reply. I should have mentioned, but this is for a Windows OS. But I take your point.
