Hello ! I upgrade ucs manager to version 3.2(3a), but my servers b200m2 with m81kr adapters don't support this firmware and write faults "hardware mismatch". Now i want downgrade to 2.2(8j) version, but when i try make it i got message - "one or more servers have hardware inventory mismatch fault. Decomission and recomission ( for rack servers) or acknowledge(for non-rack servers) the server to clear the fault and proceed with UCSM downgrade". FI and IOM have 2.2(8j) fw, servers 2.0(4a) fw. My servers in production, how i can downgrade UCS manager without removing/rebooting servers?

Check release notes, e.g. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/notes/CiscoUCSManager-RN-3-2.html
Table 2 Mixed Cisco UCS Releases Supported on Cisco UCS 6200 and 6300 Fabric Interconnects
Shows, that you can run Infrastructure (UCSM, FI and IOM) at 3.2.3 and the servers at 2.2.8.
No requirement to downgrade everything !

m81kr are on the deprecation list and are not supported after 3.1(3e).

Hi @S2141,
ONLY way to downgrade the UCSM or Infra firmware(ucsm,FIs,IOMs) is to de-com the depreciated hardware (down time IS required) followed by re-commission of blades after downgrade completes.

MJ
