This server generally had a M81KR or Vic1280 adapter.

Based on the screenshot, I'm guesting you have a M81KR adapter, which isn't supported in 3.11 code line (what Wes is getting at).  Assuming this is the case, you'll need replace it with a VIC 1280 adapter to get the blade to work in 3.11 code line or above.

Thanks,

Hello,

Since it is an M2, ensure you do not have an adapter or different piece of hardware that is not supported on 3.1.1:

Release notes 3.1.1:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/release/notes/CiscoUCSManager-RN-3-1.html

Can you provide a screen capture?

Thanks,

Wes

Thanks Wes, attached is the snapshot

I visited the url above provided by you , it does not list my hardware which is B440 M2

Thanks for the screen capture. UCSM does not appear to recognize the adapter.

I would try to ensure the adapter is physically present, attempt to reseat it and ensure it is properly installed, or swap another known working adapter in and see if the issue persists.

Please update with the results.

Thanks Kirk, I too believe that's what the issue is.

I have raised a TAC case and uploading UCSM and chassis logs for them to confirm, and whether we need to replace the card with a VIC1280
