I have a HX DP installer running on my laptop. I set it to use DHCP to get IP address. It works fine however I am wondering how I can change it to a specific static IP address? The same process as change IP for a ubuntu linux? Can not find information in any documents...
Or is it easier to just reinstall another installer from OVA?

Hi,
You can change the /etc/network/interfaces file to static by
commenting out the line containing dhcp and re-adding with static instead of dhcp
and configure address, netmask, gateway
there are examples here:
