Hi Member,
I have this in my lab
UCS 220 M3 with hardward raid:
CISCO UCS RAID SAS 2008M-8i: PID UCSC-RAID-MZ-C220 | Mezzanine | 4 Internal | No | 0, 1, 1E, 10 | 4 drives: 1 mini-SAS (UCSC-CABLE3) |
I try to install VMWARE ESXi5.5 on it, while installation work perfectly well, but the server could not boot from where vmware is installed.
Any help will be appreciated on how to go about the installation and creation of boot part from bios.
Thanks,

When you press F6 you see the RAID controller listed as a boot option?
Can you go to the BIOS configuration in CIMC, Advanced tab and check the Option ROM (OPROM) for that controller is enabled?

Never mind solution just came at the nip of time.
It tune out that PCI slot 1 was not enable at the bios. After I enable it everything work perfectly.
Thanks,
