Cisco announces the end-of-life and end of support dates for Cisco HX Data Platform Software Version 2.5.
Software maintenance support for 2.5 software release will end on February 1, 2019. No bug fixes, patches or maintenance releases will be provided for this Cisco HyperFlex Data Platform release after that date.
Starting from November 1, 2018, only sev1 and security vulnerability issues will be addressed with HX Data Platform release 2.5.x. It may be necessary to upgrade to later software release to correct a reported problem.
Software maintenance requires an active service contract.
Product Migration Options
Customers currently running HyperFlex Data Platform 2.5.x should upgrade by February 1, 2019 to the latest Suggested Release. Cisco HyperFlex Data Platform’s Software Download page to get the latest Suggested Release can be found here: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286305544/type/286305994/release. Suggested release can be identified by the star next to the release name.
You should consider upgrading to 3.5 or 4.0
