when I do this following on my FI, I am getting no info at all
connect adapter 1/3/1
connect
attach-fls
adapter 1/2/1 (fls):2# vnic
---- ---- ---- ------- -------
vnic ecpu type state lif
---- ---- ---- ------- -------
23 1 fc active 12
24 2 fc active 13

After HBA driver is loaded, all login info from OptioRom is removed.
I prefer to use "lunlist" as it gives more complete output:
adapter 1/1/1 (fls):44# lunlist

Hi Tony,
It's possible that you have more than one adapter in this blade and HBAs are on second adapter, so try to attach to second adapter (1/1/2).
These fields will only populate when blade is attaching to LUN upon reboot (you will see it if quiet boot is disabled).
After OS HBA driver loads, login information is erased.

the host is booted up. Not in bios. There is an os installed on it. Is that why no info is shown?
thank you
