Hello, I am currently experiencing a minor fault (F1237) within my UCS chassis. The error is as follows:
From [ sensors ] output within the FI
DDR3_P2_F1_ECC | 60250.000 | error | UNR | na | na | na | na | 16000.000 | 60250.000 |
UNR: Upper Non Recoverable Threshold
and the alarm reported:
<?xml version='1.0' ?>
<ALARMS value='AMBER_ON_ALARM_MINOR_FAULT'>
<DDR3_P2_F1_ECC id='130' value='ALARM_MINOR_FAULT' fault='Sensor Threshold Crossed'/>
</ALARMS>
Does this memory module need to be replaced? Or is there some way I can clear the fault?

Hello,
The count is too high. 60250.
It will stay as it is until replaced.
After 2.1 we don't get false degraded alerts.
Kindly get a TAC case opened.

Before opening the case do the following to save some time. Swap the Dimm with any other dimm from the same server. Check fi the issue follows the dimm or if it stays with the Slot. This just to be 100% sure what actually needs to be replaced.
