Hello,
We have a Cisco UCS C240 M4 that is going through the RMA process. They are sending out a new chassis due to a motherboard issue and we expect to be able to migrate over from the old server to the new server without losing data.
I'm assuming that the process will be along the lines of physically moving the RAID card and all drives to the new server but I want to make sure that I don't run into problems.
Is anyone aware of documentation to outline this, or aware of the exact steps that I must follow?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Here ya go:
Restoring RAID Configuration After Replacing a RAID Controller
The new MRAID12G you pretty much just move everything over and the metadata on the drives is read by the controller and the disk groups will re-appear after replacement.
Good luck.
