Mixing 22xx IOModules and 23xx IOModules Chassis Discovery Policy

I inherited a Mixed environment.  Many Old 6200 Series Domains with a bunch of 6300 Series Domains. 

On the Chassis Discovery Policy You can choose Backplane Speed Preference.

What happens in a mixed environment of a 6300 Series FI, and both 2208 IOM's, and 2304 IOM's.

What is the best practice in a mixed environment, as well as can this be changed later without downtime?

This is a good question that comes up often. If you want to define this policy on a per chassis basis, just browse to the individual Chassis X under Equipment Tab and select your policy accordingly. Alternatively, you can select "Global" and it will use the policy defined at the root.

The 4x10G option is for IOM-22XX and 40G native for IOM 2304 40G QSFP/Twinax between FI and IOM.
