I can't find any docs anywhere that say yes, but the Cisco datasheet says that it supports:
Standards | 10 Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.1q VLAN support, IEEE 802.1Qaz, 1000BASE-BX, jumbo frames up to 16 KB, 1/2/4-Gbps Fibre Channel, and T11 FCoE |
It's the 4Gbps FC I am curious about...
Anyone been able to make it work?

Hi Dan,
Neither VIC (Gen1 or Gen2) support FC SFP's.
The VICs do support FC --- but the underlying assumption is that it's connected to a 6200 Fabric Interconnect or a Nexus switch, which in turn connect directly to the SAN.
Hope this helps,
-Jeff

Jeff,
Thanks for that. I suspected as much; it was the one line in the datasheet that was giving me a glimmer of hope.
