Port channel configuration failure

I have tried to build 8 gigabit port channel between Cisco 6248 interconnect and MDS 9509 FC switch.  Port Channel on MDS director build correctly but when I try to join it to port channel on 6248 it fails...

Can you get any of the ports to come up individually?

What kind of errors are you getting on the MDS or FIs?

Some commands to run on the MDS to see if you can determine what is keeping the port channel from coming up:

#show port-channel compatibility-parameters

#show port-channel summary

#show port-channel database

#show port-channel consistency detail

The ports all come before port channel is configured with 8 gigabit connections. The error received is "errorDisabledReInitLimitReached"
