Dear Balaji,
the link above doesn't say about troubleshooting only it mentioned that we can connect, that i also know by logic that we can connect but the port channel is not coming up, what can be the reason ??
i don't have logs to share and what logs i have to collect from FI please suggest.
Thanks

we can virtually think what is configured until you post config and what steps you followed. based on the input we can suggest what is to be done to test and fix the issue if we can.

It would be helpful if you pasted the #show run int .... for both the interfaces and the port-channels on both the 6500 and the UCSM FIs.
Also do a #show int eth x/y transceiver details as well as
#show int eth x/y for any of the interfaces involved in the port-channels in question.
Thanks,
Kirk...

The configuration are very similar as per the cisco guide,
int range 1/1/1-2, int 2/1/1-2
switchport mode trunk
channel-group 100 mode active
int po100
switchport mode trunk
The strange thing is ports on Core 1 are formed with ether channel but the ports on core switch 2 is in waiting stage.
Thanks
