Ok .. I'm confused ... I'm getting random resets on my IOM modules ... it's always the x/2 IOM that reset and and becomes inaccessible.

What can cause this?

There are a couple of possibilities, the logs would most likely have to be analyzed to determine the cause.  There are a few commands which you can run from the cli which might give some hints to the reboot cause.

connect local-mgmt X (X being either a or b depending on which FI the affected IOM is connected to)

connect iom X (X being the chassis number)

show platform software cmcctrl ohms all

show platform software cmcctrl uboot logs

Hello ,

I would recommend you to open a TAC service request with UCSM and Chassis X tech support bundle as we need more information to root cause IOM resets.

I'm wondering if it's my FI as it's only occuring on one side .... the reset are random, it usually consists of 3 chassis at any given time.
