Re-install vCenter. Anything to do on Nexus 1000v

We have UCS and Nexus 1000v running in our production. Due to some problem with the vCenter server, we need to re-install the vCenter server.

Would like to know what should we do on the Nexus 1000v as re-installing the vCenter will cause the svs connection to break. Any way to do it without any disruption to the existing VMs?

We had a good email exchange internally on this subject. We've already requested VMware to provide a way for us to be able to export the DVS data from the vCenter and then be able to import to another or recovered vCenter but when we request features they don't go quite as far with VMware when customers request them.

If you have a support contract with VMware would you mind opening a case and requesting them to make an enhancement?
