S6100 traffic test

Hi All,

I have a case which S6100 have some 10G ports error, now I want to run the traffic test with the IXIA.

I boot the system with N5K image and create 20 vlans(2 ports in a vlan), but I cannot diable the spanning-tree for the test.

So if anyone have idea about this situation? If any other conguration need to be done first?

Han,

Are you referring to a UCS fabric Interconnect - 6100?  As far as the port errors, what exactly are you seeing?

If this is a 6100, not sure why you'd be booting it with an N5K image.  These are built for FI images only, even though they run NXOS underneath.

If you want to troubleshoot, I'd suggest loading one of the recent 6100 images and running NXOS commands from the switch context (connect nxos).
