Hi Hans,
A few things to check:
* Do you have any previous job for the same destination host ip in the download section? If so can you delete it and try again?
* And have you made sure there are no space issue on the FI / the username-password is correct?
* In case this STFP / SCP client has not worked for you can you try using an alternate protocol and client? e.g. tftf with using the tftpd32.exe as the client.

Hi Abhinav,
bout the things you say to check:
* Do you have any previous job for the same destination host ip in the download section? If so can you delete it and try again?
- YES, WE HAVE OLDER TASK FOR DOWNLOAD AND WE EREASE IT ALL AND DON'T WORK
* And have you made sure there are no space issue on the FI / the username-password is correct?
- MAYBE IN THIS ITEM WE DON'S HAVE ENOUGH INFO WE GOT THIS FROM DE FI (THE FILE SIZE WE ARE TRAYING TO SEND IS 550 MB):
ucs1-A /fabric-interconnect # sh storage
Storage on local flash drive of fabric interconnect:
Partition Size (MBytes) Used Percentage
---------------- ---------------- ---------------
bootflash 8785 10
opt 1916 2
workspace 277 2
ucs1-A /fabric-interconnect # sh environment

Fabric Card 2:

ucs1-A /fabric-interconnect # sh detail
Fabric Interconnect:
ID: A
Product Name: Cisco UCS 6120XP
PID: N10-S6100
VID: V01
Vendor: Cisco Systems, Inc.
Serial (SN): SSI144906KJ
Revision: 0
Total Memory (MB): 3549
OOB IP Addr: X.X.X.X
OOB Gateway: X.X.X.X
OOB Netmask: X.X.X.X
Operability: Operable
Current Task:
* In case this STFP / SCP client has not worked for you can you try using an alternate protocol and client? e.g. tftf with using the tftpd32.exe as the client.
- We are trying the upgrade with a siftware bundle (550 MB), TFTP has a file size limitation of 32 MB. The firmware bundles can be much larger than that.

Hi Hans,
On the client you are using to upload the file, do you see a request coming from the FI or three is no request at all?
In case there is no option to see the client request you can run wireshark or something to check for the request coming in.
If this is holding your upgrade activity, feel free to open a TAC case and we should be able to help you.

Hi Hans,
Were you able to solve this issue?
I'm having the same problem upgrading from UCS 1.3 to 2.1, but it seems like the traffic never goes to the tftp server but i don't have firewalls or any device stopping the traffic.

Hey Tobias,
we were reviewing the FI upgrade in stand alone mode and was not the best way, put it in another cluster with FI and upgrade goes fine
