hi, we r plannig to upgrade ucs to bios and firmware v3.0 from existing bios C220M3.1.5.1c.0 (Build Date: 01/31/2013), cimc 1.5(1b).
Im kinda cofused, week ago when i opened ciscotac ticket engineer told me that i can move traight to v3.0.3a with HUU file. But today I see i may need to jump to 1.5.2 then 1.5.4 then 2.0.1 then 3.0 version.
here is links to HUU version requirements:
WHo is right ?

OK, so cisco engineer was wrong I could not jump straight to 3.0 from 1.5.1 . I did as it was written in documentation jumping 3 or 4 versions till 3.0.3a an this was wright . The big problem was not upgrade procedure but Java , KVM on old support v6 Java, after upgrade to 3 it needs v 1.8.92 BUT we didn't know (me and then cisco tac egnineer I called after i faced issue kvm connection failed) finally after 3 hours of trying different versions I found 1.8.92 worked and could finish upgrade esxi to 6 . Very bad that cisco doesnt have whole upgrade procedure for such complete product as Collaboration and u need to search in different sections/websites of vmware, ucs , cucm, vary bad that upgrade of ucs documentantion docs about requirements of bios/firmware doesnt have info about java version required. Very bad that programmers are changing java and new version of java doesnt support old versions.
