Hi, I'm looking at a server which can hold all the servers for ccie voice (cucm, cup, cuc, uccx). This is only for lab purposes. I'm wondering if the said server can run in ucs c220 m3? And what is much better form factor to use, sff or lff?

Hello,

Since this lab environment, you can over subscribe the resources and ignore co-resideny rules for UC VMs on UCS

The difference between SFF and LFF is HDD form factor and size. SFF model 2.5 inch HDDs and LFF supports 3.5 HDDs.

Data sheet has more information on it

I see, so a c220 can handle those vm smoothly. In the case of SFF and LFF C220, which do you prefer to use base on what?

Hello,

In simple terms, you could choose between SFF or LFF based on supported HDDs and required local storage capacity.
