Hello,
I am curious about the firmware upgrade path for some UCS C220 M5 devices. These are currently on 4.1(1f). We have been asked to move them to 4.2(3n).
Looking on the release notes for 4.2(3) and specifically under the "Upgrade Paths to Release 4.2" section
It lists going from 4.1(1) on a Cisco UCS C220 M5 to 4.2(3b) and various builds up to 4.2(3l). But nowhere is a specific Upgrade to Release 4.2(3n) mentioned.
I am wondering if I can go from 4.1(1f) straight to 4.2(3n) or if I need to step it to 4.2(3l) first. If that is the case and it needs to be stepped, why doesn't the upgrade path in the release notes mention 4.2(3n) as a destination for previous 4.2(3x) builds either? Is the latest 4.2(3n) release simply missing from the table?
Thank you

Looks like that table wasn't updated to include 4.2(3n) or 4.2(3m).
I would upgrade from 4.1(1f) to 4.2(3n) and not think twice about it.
