I'm unable to continue installing the Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL 8.4 operating system when the system is stuck on black screen after reboot. I am using vKVM from CIMC and booting from vKVM-Mapped vDVD. As part of troubleshooting, I came across this article https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000031570/server-products.html. From this article I only followed the instruction for BIOS but didn't do anything else. I set BIOS to Legacy mode and that allowed me to finish the installation and able login to the Red Hat.
What should I do in order to use BIOS in UEFI mode? Do I need to install or update any driver?
Thanks in advance for any help.

For sure RedHat 8.x is able to boot with EFI.
Did you try to hit any key or witch vt console to get some logs ?
