Hello,
I implemented a few UCS C240m3 servers with 2xvic1225 and QLogic-2672. The servers are manage by UCSM 2.2.3 C.
I'm a little bit conffuse because in UCSM vic1225 cards are looked fine(in UCSM), but QLogic cars looks like not full support (attachment)
It is normal situation?

Hi
Have a look at http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c-series_integration/ucsm2-2/b_C-Series-Integration_UCSM2-2.pdf
Table 9: Supported Adapter Cards
I cannot find Qlogic-2672, only QLogic QLE8242

Hi,
I know this release notes. But If you configure C240m3 in CCW you can choose Qlogic-2672 Card.
Data sheet of C240m3 also said that this card is support.
In my opinion card is support by the C240m3 in standalone mode but not fully support by UCSM

Correct !
Please check
http://www.cisco.com/web/techdoc/ucs/interoperability/matrix/matrix.html
and you can see which mode (standalone, UCSM managed), OS and adaptor is supported.

Hi Marcel,
You are correct the server itself does support the q-logic card, what it really means when you integrate this server with UCSM, is that UCSM won't be able to manage this adapter, but you can still use it in the server. In other words, the OS installed on this server will detect the card, but if you want to send traffic via this adapter you must connect it to a san switch or storage array instead of the UCS fabric interconnects, because if you do you the adapter won't be able to send/receive traffic.
