Hi,
First time using a USC-E and trying to configure the 4331 so that both the CIMC and ESXi / VMs can all use the 4331 backplane to connect to the router. I do not see anything recent on this config. Reading the docs is very confusing
Brand new 4331 and UCS-E Module. Have configured and installed CIMC and ESXI direct from the external TE2 port but now want to access it via the router directly
Below is only config relevant on the 4331 (no subslot config). I do not see any "imc" command available under these ports
Has anyone a working config they can sanitise and send on? My ultimate aim is to be able to install a virtual machine on this and send syslog/ callstats/ etc directly to this server directly via the router backplane without having to cable in the UCS module to the LAN directly
CIMC/ESXi on one VLAN/subnet and the virtual machine on another so assume will need to have trunk config on these ucse ports
!
interface ucse1/0/0
no ip address
shutdown
no negotiation auto
switchport mode trunk
!
interface ucse1/0/1
no ip address
shutdown
no negotiation auto
switchport mode trunk
ANy help appreciated
