UCS FI Setup Issue " Failed to configure given password on the switch, system will be rebooted , please wait.."

Customer is setting up multiple FI's in a new environment.  FI's are loaded with 2.2.3c from manufacturing.  Customer is using IPv6 for mgmt networking. Environment is in a lights out facility.

When customer sets up the first FI in the cluster and at the end after typing in yes to accept the configuration, the setup errors out on the message:

Failed to configure given password on the switch, system will be rebooted , please wait..

System then reboots.

Customer then resets up system and after typing in yes to accept the configuration, the configuration completes setup successfully.

Customer repeated this on another FI domain setup and enabled strong password and the same scenario as above occurs. Setup fails and then is successful after setup again.

This issue has been seen several times in the past based on a topic search, but none recently.

Any recommendations for further troubleshooting??

Thanks

David,

Is the system even giving him the option to confirm the configuration he is about to save?  I mean, does it look like the system is taking the changes?
