UCS management unbearably slow

The web UI for UCS management is ridiculously slow.  It takes, literally, minutes to do anything.  The laptop I'm using is a Precision M6800 with eight cores and 32 GB RAM and doesn't show any undue CPU, memory, disk, or network load.  I'm using Firefox and Oracle Java 8 on Win 7.  What can we try to figure out why it's like a fly trapped in molasses on Pluto in January?

Greetings.

Tell me about how your laptop connection makes it back to the mgmt 1Gb port on the FIs (i.e. over VPN, same LAN, etc)

What UCSM version, and what interface (java or HTML5)?

After you have confirmed the UCSM GUI sluggishness is a universal problem from other workstations/guestVMs with local LAN access to the UCSM, lets check CPU utilization on both the FIs:

#connect local-mgmt

#show processes

#connect nxos

nxos#show system resources

nxos#show system resources free

You may need to open a ticket with TAC if both Java/HTML5 interfaces are sluggish, and nothing is pounding the UCSM (i.e. overly aggressive SNMP polling)

Thanks,

Kirk...
