UCS reboot vs Guest OS reboot?

Hi all,

We have a question regarding the UCS, and cannot seem to find any documentation containing anything close to an answer.  Our UCS is prompting us to reboot a blade server.  We manually rebooted the server gracefully from the OS, however the UCS server reboot prompt is still present, as though the UCS does not recognize the server was rebooted.  Is there any difference in the process behind the scenes between initiating a server reboot from the UCS and from the OS itself?

Are you using the "On Next Boot" option in your maintenance policy?
