UCS Single Chassis Failure - NRFU Test Doc

Hi all,

Client has Two UCS5108 chassis with eight UCS-B200-M3 servers each are installed on datacenter. The UCS chassis are connected to two UCS6248 fabric-interconnects for redundancy. Every UCS-IF is connected through vPC to the two Nexus5Ks switches. The UCSM management system on the UCS-FI managing the whole UCS components

I'm working on a test doc for client, and in need to add UCS single chassis failure. important to mention I already got a "UCS FI failover test".

would appreciate steps Detailed as possible, I cant find similar test here and on other NRFU's (ic nuggets etc)

I hope your setup is such, that e.g. if you run ESXi, you distribute the cluster nodes evenly over the 2 chassis. Same for Windows cluster.

There have been defects in the past (years ago), where IOM memory leaks were bringing down one whole chassis.
