Hi! does cisco have a documentation that UCS can store its data in almost unlimited time during a power outage?

Greetings.

Can you be a little more specific and add some context to your question?

Are you talking about the UCSM configs from the fabric interconnects?

Those run off of SSD/flash drives, where the working and startup configs are also saved.

You're not going to loose configs from those, even if they are powered off for a number of months.

Kirk...

I think it is the data of their application stored in the storage. ex: c220 servers with windows OS experience power outage for long time.. the enduser need a documentation that specify the data stored on the disks will not be corrupted.

From OS perspective, power outage, is always susceptible to file system corruption.  That's what UPSs are for;)

If you are asking about the raid controller cache memory backed by battery, then

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/hw/C220M5/install/C220M5/C220M5_appendix_0100.html#concept_rv4_v4c_kz

RAID Backup (Supercap)

"This server supports installation of one supercap unit. The unit mounts to a bracket in-line with the fan modules.

The optional SCPM provides approximately three years of backup for the disk write-back cache DRAM in the case of a sudden power loss by offloading the cache to the NAND flash."

Let me know if that's what you are after.

Thanks,

Kirk...
