Hello all,
Hopefully this is the right place to post this question. I'm setting up a new Unity Connection appliance but I'm unable to find where I can set the DNS reference. I would have thought it would be an obvious field in one of the basic settings tabs but no. Would appreciate any pointers :)
Thanks!

Hello,
It appears you can set the DNS settings from the CLI using:
set network dns primary X.X.X.X
set network dns secondary X.X.X.X
show network eth0 – confirm the changes

Hello,
What kind of server/appliance are you configuring? Is it the Cisco UCS CIMC? What is the model number?
Any specific details would be helpful to isolate the issue.
Thanks,
Wes

Hi Wesley,
Thanks for your reply. Apologies, I've not been at a pc for a couple of days. I'm configuring a Unity Connection appliance hosted on a VMware VM. The version number is 10.5.2. This is my first attempt at building one of these so not fully up to speed yet. Hopefully that is all the info you need?
Cheers!
