Can anyone help on this..
In our lab we are trying to connect from FI 6120xp to Cisco 3750E Switch and inserted SFP module on FI port number 6.
We created a separate port channel added couple of ports on it and assigned couple of vlan numbers.
When we check the uplink ethernet port link status is not establishing.

Hi Saisrsri,
What UCS Firmware are you currently running on the 6120 Fabric Interconnect?
What is the type of SFP module you are trying to insert on FI port 6.You must be using a supported SFP cable this is shown in Table 3 in the link below;
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-5100-series-blade-server-chassis/data_sheet_c78-524724.html
You can get the type of SFP present by doing an SSH session into the Fabric Interconnect and run the following commands. You can also get it from the GUI interface if you click on that specific port.
connect nxos x (x = A or B Fabric Interconnect)
show interface ethernet x/y transceiver details
Did you configure that port as an uplink port on the UCS side?
Does the port come up when you remove it from the port-channel? If you do not know can you please try that. If it does come up can you verify that the port-channel is configured correctly on the 3750.
Let me know and hopefully we can get a resolution to your issue.

Qiese Dides

Currently running Firmware version is 2.0(5f)
It's Cisco GLC-T SFP inserted on FI port 6 and 7 configured as Uplink Ethernet Ports
Switch 6120-A(nxos)# show interface ethernet 1/7 transceiver details
Ethernet1/7
transceiver is present
type is 1000base-T
name is CISCO-METHODE
part number is SP7041_Rev_F
revision is F
serial number is MTC1704048N
nominal bitrate is 1300 MBit/sec
Link length supported for copper is 100 m
cisco id is --
cisco extended id number is 4
Transceiver calibration is invalid
-------
Yes we configured as an uplink and it came back when we remove from port-channel.

This release is very old: 09-DEC-2013 ! There have been some problems with GLC-T transceivers !
Can you please post any error log entries from the FI and/or the switch ?

So which one can be fit for it

Can you please clarify: is this a port-channel issue, meaning a single link without pc runs ok ?
Please post show interface ....

Have configured the FI port with UCS Manager as 1G ?
05-09-2016 10:12 AM
yes it is..
05-09-2016 11:14 AM
On the 6120 only ports 1-8 support 1G !
Are all you pc members in this range ?

We are aware of it.
05-09-2016 10:43 PM
It seems that the configuration on the UCS side is ok !
If possible, I would upgrade to 2.2.6f
and check if the peer Cisco 3750E is ok.
