Vmware custom ISO post broadcom

I was digging through the Broadcom support to see if I could find the latest custom ESXi iso and it seems like several vendors showed up but Cisco did not...  Any reason for this that anyone knows? And does anyone happen to have the latest ESXi custom iso?

Are the downloads locked behind something?

I followed the instructions per below Broadcom's article but there are no products displayed for downloading:

https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?articleNumber=366685

VMware downloads (specifically ISOs) always required a login and an entitlement.

I used the above KB and was able to get to the custom ISOs for ESXi 7.0 and 8.0 (edit - links corrected based on my ‎06-16-2024 post).

Caveat: the order of downloads is not always longer chronological with latest at the top, like it used to be on the old VMware site. 8.0 U1 is the first to be listed, with U2 & GA quite a bit lower down. (The 7.0 downloads are in order).

For what it's worth, I just checked and I don't see any Cisco custom ISOs for either 7.0 or 8.0:

Today I've tried a few different methods and for the most part they've worked(but when select ESXi8.0U2b, cannot find it).

Not sure what to tell you. I see 25 records / ISOs on ESXi 8.0, 3 Cisco entries for GA+updates

Under ESXi 7.0 I see 32 ISOs in total, with these Cisco specific groupings by update

If I click on Expand (to the right of the row) on for example 7.0 U3, it lists 4 pairs (ISO & offline bundle), latest being U3o

Even on my private login that does not have any licenses etc. loaded, I can see the same.

I think we can safely say that this is Yet Another Broadcom Problem!

You are correct. The Broadcom site is very confusing, with multiple ways to get to what look like custom ISO sections, but not all with the same number of ISOs.

NB: if you see a “Primary Downloads”, DO NOT click on “View Group” next to VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) lower dowm - when I do, and click on Custom ISOs, I only see 2x entries for 8.0 and 7x entries for 7.0 (none of them are for Cisco).

Instead, click on Custom ISOs tab where you should see all. Here are links to the 7.0 and 8.0 sections. Expanding an entry will also show custom offline bundles.

Thank you! You're exactly right. After selecting a version number, if I then click the "Custom ISOs" tab immediately, and not the "View Group" link next to the product, I get a long list of ISOs, which I can filter with the search bar and then, boom, there they all are.

Thanks again!
