Hi Everyone,

We are planning to upgrade our VMware from 7 to 8, our UCS is UCS B200 M4 CPU 2643 V3, we checked the compatibility guide from Broadcom and 8 is not on the list only up to 7u3, I want to ask the community if anyone can help me to confirm our UCS B200 M4 CPU 2643 V4 will not able to run VMware 8?

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks

Tim

A quick google query shows show Broadwell and Sky Lake CPU's as deprecated, so that would be a No.

Edit: Deprecated means it SHOULD run 8.0 if you were running 2600-V4 CPU's but will definitely not run anything past that. 2600-V3 CPU's (which are what you list) are not supported for 8.0. Your mileage may vary.
