Jumbo Frames between Nexus and UCS interface

Hi,

If an interface connected from N7K to UCS for uplink and configured Jumbo Frame on N7K. Should there be a change from UCS side for this MTU size?

Since the default on UCS QoS System Class is Best Effort with "normal" MTU meaning 1500 it would end up jumbo frames not working.

Regards,

Mir

Hi Mir,

Yes when you are setting up Jumbo Frames everything must be the same value. So if your UCS manager is 1500, your upstream switch must be 1500 and your OS must be 1500.

please check the below link for more details:

Hi Hafeezali,
