Hi all!
I have a doubt, is possible to aggregate links, with LACP or similar, between Fabrics interconnet UCS 6200?
I have two buildings (they are very near, a couple of walls in the middle) and I would like to install a UCS Blade server chassis in each and one fabric interconnect with each UCS Blade server chassis.
This is the topology,
Switch 29060 for LAN Switch 29060 for LAN

Fabric interconnect ============= Fabric Interconect

Thanks in advance.

Hello David,
I assume you refer to the links between FI are connecting the cluster ( L1 and L2 ) ports.
These ports need to be directly connected and the maximum distance is limited by the Ethernet cable i.e 100 meters
FI internally configures these ports in a bond and no need of additional configuration.

Hello David,
This kind of topology isn't supported.
Each chassis must be connect in each Fabric Interconnect at the same time and the data connection between Fabric Interconnect must be through a upstream switch.

So, only for confirm, is not possible connect two fabric interconnect between uplink ports?

Hello,
Is FI operating in End host or switch mode for Ethernet ?
Can you please share details on why you want to connect FIs directly ?

Is operating in switch mode for ethernet.
We have a very limited quote for this project so we are triying to reduce the cost at maximun.
