Hi,
I am unable to my Launch UCS Manager. It was working perfectly until two days ago when:
Everytime I click on 'Launch UCS Manager', I get the error below. What could be the problem?? Thanks.

Try disabling the proxy in your browser.
Internet Options - Connections - LAN Settings - uncheck Proxy Server box.

Robert

Proxy was already disabled.

Can you try from another workstation - see if you still have an issue.
If you're still having issues, try accessing from a workstation on the same L2 subnet (to avoid any routing, FWs etc).

One other suggestion is to enable the Java Console logging.
Control Panel - Java - Advanced -
Java Console = Show
Debugging = Enable Logging
Look for any error message and/or paste the output here.

Hi Robert,
I tried on another workstation and it worked. In my workstation, I did the Java settings changes you recommended but it did't work. So I un-installed the Java update I had made and it worked.
Thank you and thanks to everyone for their recommendations.

Can you check the Java proxy settings also?
-Control Panel - Java - General Tab - Network Settings. Try "Direct Connection".
Failing this, re-install Java, this seems to work for others.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for reply.
I was using direct connection after reffering to other threads on this and i uninstaleld the java version and reinstalled it back.
I am using Java 8 update 73( 64 bit)

I just tested this in my lab with UCSPE 2.2(5a) & Java 8 Build 73 64bit, and it works fine. Must be a client side issue. Can you try accessing from another workstation?
Robert

Oracle is by default giving people Java 1.7 and UCSM will only work with older Java 1.6 32 bit
