That would explain it. A little confusing they would include that in a 11.5 configuration guide as an option then. Also the per-upgrade report says that a smart account must be created and configured prior to upgrade or migration to 12.0 or higher....
I'm using Smart License Using Policy, so that license is in my smart account. With SLUP I can keep that license in my inventory in my smart account, and remove it from that switch. So if I decide to use it at a later date I can. I don't need help ...
