Choywy is right. Some companies are a bit cheeky when they tout their routers as adsl routers but they don't actually have an adsl modem built in. If you can take it back, change it for one with an integrated modem.

Did you erase the original image file first. If you didn't, this will be why it is not letting you copy the image across, there probably isn't enough space for both the old and the new. Search Cisco.com for the upgrade instructions for this switch ...
