I have a general question on BE6K upgrades ... Do we have to upgrade all applications at the same time to the same version? e.g. Customer has BE6K 8.6, but wants to only upgrade Unity Connection to 9.x for SRSV capabilities. Technically it will work just fine aside from the fact that we have to worry about 9.x licensing and ELM. I have a couple questions around UC 9.1 as it relates to BE6K. Are we going to support 9.1 once it posts to CCO? Will BE6K PM support 9.1? When will manufacturing be getting 9.1 to pre-load? If a customer purchases a redundant server for BE6K do they use the same hypervisor serial number for the second server? Only a single hypervisor was ordered originally and a second was ordered via PUT, but the serial numbers are the same. Is this expected? Thanks, Jon ... View more

While provsioning the link between UPM and Unity Connection, it assumes that you are using SCCP for the integration between CUCM & UCXN. This shouldn't be assumed and a choice between SCCP & SIP should be offered. This is a big deal for us and our customers as our best practice is to use SIP vs SCCP for integration. Thanks, Jon ... I like the all in one/pre-configured OVA option for UPM & VCS, but it limits my deployment options in that I need to have vSphere installed on a machine that is somewhat local to the UCS server to deploy the image with any efficiency. Downloading a 3.9GB file on the local LAN isn't an issue, but if I'm attempting to stage this server remotely across the WAN, it will be an issue. It will take some time to download the OVA(s) from the datastore and then the same amount of time or longer depending on my connection to upload the OVA and do the actual deployment. A feature request to address this would be to use something similar to the answer file for CUCM and deploy these images as ISO's with a small OVA vs the full file. Thanks, Jon ... View more
