I assume Failover is supported if both appliances are running in a virtual environment. That guide only mentioned the appliance models as being supported.
Is this configured as a H323 gateway in Callmanager? Can you post the entire config off the gateway? What is the call volume? How many calls are active at any given time?
One other thing. What's the processor on the gateway during times of dropped calls. I suspect you'll also notice burst of high call volume in the RTMT as well.
