I'm trying to migrate my telephone system from UC500 to 2900 router. Everithing is ok apart from AA: when I call from internal number everithing is ok but when I call from a mobile I can hear a lot of noise and DTMFs don't work. I used audio files collected directly from my working UC500. Hi,  I finally realized my meshed network with aironet 1560 APs. I have a problem: i have some barcode scanners that supports only WPA+TKIP security. I configured a WLAN with WPA2/AES + WPA/TKIP+AES but my clients seems not to work. Does 1560 support WPA/TKIP? Any ideas? In case of no TKIP support, which would be the best temporary solution? (I was thinking about no security + mac filtering, I tested and it works, I would secure my wlan behind a firewall).   Reading data sheet it seems that 1560 serie supports legacy TKIP, where am I going wrong?   tks Johnny  ... I have a few questions about best practices for mesh network deployment: I'm using WLC 3504 and 1560 APs. - is it better 8.5 release or 8.8? - on mesh bridge access-points:        -- what about channel width of backhaul link? 20-40 or 80MHz on RAP access-points?        -- with ethernet bridging enabled, which is the difference between vlan support on mesh tab and vlan support on gigabit ethernet port? which native vlan do I have to use on both tabs? Which vlan do i need to configure on rap's switch port? and which vlan on map's switch port? Hi all, my costumer is using a lobby ambassador account to configure guest user on a WLC 5520. The user have a time limit and when they are out of time they are automatically deleted form WLC. Hi all, I have a stack of 3850 made by 1 switch full multigigabit copper interface and 1 switch full 1Gb copper interface. My server are connected to 10GB interface. I have the following problem: If I connect any host with 1GB nic to a 10GB RJ-45 port, it correctly negotiates 1GB interface but download from the server is very slow. I also tried to force the 10G interface to fixed 1G but nothing changes. If I connect the same host to a 1GB native port of the same stack, download is perfect.  Both the port 10G and 1G are configured same way: switchport mode access switchport access vlan 100 spanning-tre portfast this happens with any computer with 1 GB Nic. (OS W8.1 or W10 or Server2012R2). As I have a backup stack perfectly equal to the one I'm testing, I tried the same tests even in the second stack. the result is the same: download very slow if I connect to a 10G interface (negotiated to 1 G) and dowbload perfect if I connect to a native 1G interface of the same stack).   Any idea? My WIFI network is made of 5520 WLC and 1832 APS. WLC ver Rel 8.5. If my clients try to download a big file tha download speed decrease till stop and some applications can't work. Apparently it happens with all nic model and also if the wireless clients is not moving.   I checked all roaming feature with tac and no errors were detected with roaming.
